Our Story
1. It started with a question no one was asking.
Like millions across Nepal, our founder lit incense every day — in the puja room, and in the quiet corners of the home where calm was needed most. She never thought to ask what was inside it. Why would she? Everyone used it. Everyone always had. Until one day, she found out.
2. What she learned changed everything?
The incense filling our most sacred and personal spaces was not what any of us believed it to be. Most of what the market sold was built from the cheapest possible materials — waste wood dust , charcoal, and bamboo cores, held together with little more than filler. She could not unlearn it. And she could not keep lighting it.
3. Why herbs, and not just wood dust?
Anyone can press wood powder into a cone and call it incense. Our ancestors never did. They filled their hawan fires with specific herbs, flowers, woods, and resins — Googal, Loban, Jatamansi, Titeypati, Sandalwood, and many more — each chosen for a reason, long before science could explain why they worked. She went back to that wisdom. Not because it sounded good on a label, but because it was the right way to make something worth breathing in — whether in prayer, in stillness, or simply in a space you want to feel better in. More than thirty-one ingredients now go into every cone.
4. Why we removed charcoal?
Nearly every incense on the market burns on a base of charcoal. It is cheap, it is easy, and it is what makes that thick, dark smoke so many of us have simply grown used to. But charcoal smoke is not something you want filling a closed room, hour after hour — least of all in the spaces where you pray, rest, and breathe deepest. So we took it out. Completely. A Divyanta cone burns clean, on the strength of its herbs alone — the way incense was always meant to.
5. Rooted in Panchagavya.
At the heart of every Divyanta cone are the five sacred elements of Panchagavya — the gifts of the cow, central to Vedic ritual for thousands of years. We chose to honour that tradition rather than shortcut it. It connects every cone to something far older than any brand.
Divyanta means “the essence of the divine.”

Truly natural fragrance costs more than almost any incense on the market could justify. Most brands know this, yet still print “natural” on their boxes. We will not. Our cones carry a premium aroma compound, and we say so plainly — because we would rather tell you what it is than promise you what it is not.
